I have a war story for you guys that my grandmother told me (from my pops) but he dosent like to talk about it because of his PTSD.

My Pops was in the navy at the time of the Vietnam war, he would go in on PT boats and shoot from the river coast to support other units. One day they were told to go in and him and his buddy would be l manning the big gun at the front of the boat. They were going down the river and they were ambushed by some vietcong (not many maybe like 5 or 6) and his buddy got hit in the chest and arm right infront of him. The group got out of there as fast as possible but his buddy didnt make it. That was one of his worst moments in Vietnam and was a big source of his PTSD.

We don't have JROTC and stuff like that

Singapore has it tho but I left some time ago

Well that kinda sucks but then again I've never heard of France needing fresh cadet officers of any kind since WW2

I tend to be sorta blind when it comes to France after WW2

I mean, they threw hands with the Vietnamese after ww2

France has a very good navy so that's kinda my reason to want to join
