They way how you argued that, I took it as the more one direction you go from the circle, the more similar with all extremes you are... not just the right is more similar with the right side, the top more similar to the top, the left more similar to all that’s left. Etc.

the way the political maps are set up arent all much based on ideologs. the way they are set up as followed. the X Axis is Econimical based, if you are more socialist in economics you fall to the left on the map if you are capitalist you call to the right of the map. the Y axis is how much power you want the government to have, with the top of the chart being authoritarian and the bottom being anarchism

As in it shows what ideologies are oppressive what ideologies are free.

The more southern you go the freer it is, the more north the more authoritarian.

then that would have to be an entirely different map alltogether, not made a modification on the political map itself. youd have to create an ideology map, which is more complex than what the standard political map is

In the case of the example I showed it is accurate to how much those ideologies promote freedom. But with modern politics the democrats would be much more authoritarian and Trump would need his own tab.
