Looks like i shot it yesterday, lol
okay I have a special request from a <#811209076712144916> user to post a small essay here on WWII, and what good came from the Nazi regime. This in NO WAY is saying they were good, it is just saying that there was good before the storm that came to be.
Okay so first off the state of Germany before WWII is not well taught outside of Germany, and even in Germany the teachers would breeze over it. Basically after WWI Germany was given the full bill of the war, and printed their way out of debt which caused hyper inflation worse than in Venezuela. Zimbabwe currency today is just as worthless as the German Mark used to be. So the people of Germany were desperate, and along came a man speaking of German pride, and of bringing back German prosperity. That man was Adolf Hitler. He came through on his promise of bringing back the German economy from complete ruin within a decade of taking office. Though it wasn't long until his eyes fixed on the revenge he wanted to take on the rest of Europe for bringing the country he loved to it's knees.
As for the atrocities committed, just remember no country would take a Jewish family at the time. If you were jewish you were pretty much a "deplorable" that no country would accept. Most of the western world viewed the Jewish people with contempt, and hatred. Which for some reason is starting to appear again, and from the SAME political parties that despised them in the first place.
Before and after
gotcha. I kind of read rumblings about that but that brings it to a much more understandable point of view
yea.... imagine the "great depression" but a loaf of bread takes a wheelbarrow of money to buy, and money was cheaper to burn than to buy fire wood.
those look amazing!
great job!!! Snow Approves!
The first camera in the world
Yeah, but the fact that other countries also disliked Jewish people doesn't fully explain what happened in Germany. No other country set about such a purposeful extermination program as extensive as Germany did.
Like, the Germans were so fanatical about murdering the Jewish people that, when given the chance to stop the extermination in order to help the war effort, they still refused.
Hitler's references to Jewish people as a sort of disease that needed to be cleansed doubtless had something to do with this. It was as if they thought that getting rid of Jewish people would magically make the war effort go better.
Turkey
Really? Sources on that?
yes but they wouldn't take them in as refugees either, but Germany received all the blame like they did in WWI for the crimes of the entire world not taking a single Jewish person.
The Armenian Genocide
What are you talking about? Thousands of Jewish people fled Germany. Where do you think they went? Another planet?
what happened to Germany after WWI was a failure on the rest of the world, and it was what gave rise to such an individual as Hitler. I see the same things happening now that I read about in first hand accounts back in Germany. Only this time it is against the white populace of the world.
Fled, but many were sent back. I think switzerland was the only country OPENLY accepting the Jewish people. America sure wasn't, UK forget about it, and don't get me started on France.
I am just waiting for the camps to be built at this point.... and I am scared that if it happens that the rest of the world will turn a blind eye like they are now to China.
Plus for some reason Germany has throughout history been very good at 2 things.... drinking, and mass killing.
Nope, looking it over, it's not the same. They didn't build whole camps specifically to murder the Armenians. Not that it was much better, but they also forcibly integrated them with the Muslims. Not awesome, obviously. But nowhere near the fanatical hatred as Hitler inspired.
Hitler only inspired a FEW fanatics. The German ARMY despised the Nazi's and the SS troopers. The few in the SS/Nazi ranks were zealots, and almost all were executed after the war. You make it seem like ALL of Germany knew what was going on at first. They had zero clue, and when they finally figured it out, they had surrendered their arms, and had no means of fighting back.
No, the german army took part as well.
Yes, but technically no.
Yes, they did.
The German army OFFICERS did, and the plebs followed orders or were shot.
Trow where did you go to school, and why did they utterly fail at teaching WWII to you...
Now you're resorting to insults.
No I am not, I said your school failed you, not that you are a failure.
You seem reasonable, and I am sorry that whoever taught you world war II misguided you completely.
