yeah
not planing on doing much
I've got a 2070S and when 3000 series craze is over, I'll probably buy a 3070
when i get a bit more money I wannabuy like a 2060 or a 3060
when thing get back to normal prices
gpu prices are through the roof and inventory is is about as full as biden's brain
yep
at least cpu and ram prices are normal
lot more cpus to buy than GPUs
same with RAM
only two companies make GPUs and there's a dozen high end ones. CPUs get 'old' a lot slower than GPUs
RAM?
VRAM
What’s that?
Video RAM
GPUs use it
Ah
We were joking about ram a while ago and I asked, “what could you do with a terabyte of ram?”
My friend told me you could run the entire country on a terabyte of it
I do t know how true that is
there's commerical motherboards with 128GB capacity
thats a great CPU, nice build
Thanks
So what can you do with a terabyte of ram then?
run a few servers
there's no specific thing you do with a TB of RAM.
I have 16GB in my PC so 1000GB isn't really a lot looking at how many PCs there are in the world
interesting
Whats a game that's unplayable on a 1060 3gb? i'd like to try and see if i can make the 3GB on mine really be an issue, because i've never noticed it
to be fair, i was using a gtx 275 896MB before, i only got the 1060 3gb because the 275 died
so anything would've been an improvement
Even cyberpunk 2077 seemed to run fine, just had to use lower settings, and i'm massively cpu bottlenecked (3570)
Running at consistent 60fps is what i consider playable
If you can’t get 60fps a majority of the time, the card is slow. 3GB is very very lackluster in compared to what most cards are at
It’s bottom of the line
Epic
clean your damn house
Why are they so far apart?
2nd monitor won't fit in my desk comfortably even if I were to rotate it to give room
