Doge has meme power. That’s all. I’ll grant you that meme power can be massive, but that’s still all it has. Anything Doge can functionally do, another crypto is better at that function.

Should research the crypto first before putting money into it. There's a bunch of stuff that needs to be in place that actually makes it unique / worth something, instead of just having it be printed off / duplicated on the fly and made easily worthless.

At your age you would be better off first getting a steady income source from a job or career. Investing is something that takes a lot of time to be worth while and if it's for retirement, you'll need to regularly set aside money from each pay period to it.

100% bought into Dogecoin late December for less than half a cent and got 2000% gains off the pump and dump. Definitely would never think about holding a significant amount for a long time, but I do still have $50 in it as a “just in case Elon Musk tweets about it again” sending the price up another 100%
