I’m posting this just to make sure that people are staying safe and not contaminating there kitchens. I didn’t realize that most people wash there chicken, until a friend got grossed out when I didn’t wash chicken.

Only very occasionally do I wash chicken. Sometimes when you buy chicken breast tenderloins they can literally be in a bath of chicken juice slime. If it's super gross I'll rinse it... But that's rare

But as far as contaminating your kitchen... That's what anti-bac soap is for

Yeah I wash chicken, just don’t make a mess- I wipe down my counters and sink when I’m done cooking anyway. Sometimes the meat smells fine but the juice smells gross so I always wash it
