Thank you so very much. All of these guys are a 3 years old now and they went from cute to beautiful. Half smooth like mum and half fuzzy like dad.

The mostly black chick I was holding I named Pengu due to him looking like the penguin, grew into this mishmash orange cockerel. The hen next to him is named Bao, his sister.

They are gorgeous!

The way for gorgeous chickens is good food and healthy lifestyle with shelter and wide enough space to roam and the eggs are so bright yellow and delicious. They love mealworms.

Then again I do have a ugly/unusual looking chick.

I'm surrounded by farm cats. The last time I tried having chickens didn't go well.
