1 year of planespoting! I have been able to spot so many awesome aircraft!
AWESOME!!!!
Those are some nice pictures.
There was some private contractor who went to some small african bush war, and realized neither country had an airforce. So he made his own, using a bunch of Cessna's with belt-fed machine guns in the windows. I can't remember what they were called, I don't remember the merc or the country or even the name of the airforce. I think "Baby" was in the name, somewhere.
Some of the photos from my flight a couple hours ago
The last image is apparently missile silos, but i have not confirmed.
Took a flight from KCOS to KPUB did a touch and go and headed back to KCOS
Super smooth and cold so great preformance
The second from the top image is power plants, you can see the water vapor stagnate
oooh so pretty
is that your predetermined route or is it the course you took?
So basicly, we decided to use 2 different types of navigation. First we used VORs on down to KPUB (flight starting at the green circle) we had a general idea of where we were going due to our maps and stuff. Once we entered the airspace we were vectored around down west, and around a power plant, and onto the runway. We did a touch and go ( i landed wonderfully i must say) Then we used the GPS nav to get back up into the charlie airspace
where we were once again vectored around
We don't have an exact course per say, we flew VFR on a victor airway
Huh
one sec
let me get my sectional out
Ima just get a online one and screenshot
i can't find my phone to take a picture of my solid one
i got a photo
I put the sharpie after
You can see me leaving the charlie airspace
then entering delta
you are speaking foreign language to me, pilot student <:KEK:795742276549607456>
wait me to translate? I tried my best, but i can do it again in more understandable english
what is the purple things?
Those mark out the airspace
They come with their own set of rules and stuff
huh, that's cool
I have a fundamental understanding of this kind of thing.
what's charlie & delta airspace?
