big brain thinking right there
Can someone explain to my smooth brain why when I put in tan(30 in four different calculators I get two different answers
With Two TI-84s I get -6.4053
And on basic calculators like your PCs calculator I get .557
did you check what mode you have? degree or radian?
tan(30 degree) is .577
tan(30 RAD) is -6.405
Thank you I was in RAD not degree
When I signed up for this CNC class I didn't think I would have to know trig haha
Its worth noting that tan 30 degrees is 1 / root 3 in exact form
Not sure why people need exact form but that'll come in handy
Or root 3/3
Root 3 /3 is prob better because the denominator isn’t a radical
Is anyone here familiar with ode45 in matlab?
Before I changed the mode in my TI84 I did that 1/root 3 and got the answer I needed
Ode45 takes in initial conditions and x d_dot as a function
I don't remember if state space us requiered or not
It has been a while
ah I see
I didn't know how to change from exact to approx for a while
Does anyone know two numbers that multiply into -60 but add to positive 2?
it would be 2 linear equations
I need to know that.
I have to know this
To factor it into the 2 linear equations.
Well you will have to declare 2 variables and have each represent a number
4 times -15 is -60 yes
Oh factoring
And then you have to find two numbers that multiply into that sum
But add themselves into the middle number
And once you did that
You can factor it into the 2 equations.
I dont think its factor able
Alright I will just say that then
Yeah that should be the right answer
Yep that was the answer.
Nice
Thanks for the help my bruda
I got a 22/24
Nice
