when i went to Phuket to see my mates who had retired there (with their thai husbands, lol), the thai husbands had to keep fighting off the local boys who were trying to sit down to drink with me, thinking i was there to meet up with boys. grrrrrrrrr it was frustrating, and depressing at the same time.
