He was supported by falangists aka national syndicalists and other fascists in Spain but he wasn't an actual fascist as far as economic and social policies go,he was more of an ultranationalist ultratraditionalist dictator

I'm not a francoist myself and in terms of fascist practices I feel not enough have been tried outside of wartime to say for certain whether they'd work or not but then again I'm no economist and I'm aware my political ideology will never get a chance to prove itself again
