Well I guess material conditions are not yet ripe for that spark to ignite a mass movement to topple the government of the United States of America

2021-02-21 20:30:59 UTC

Waiting for material conditions to change is usually a bad excuse. People already have an issue with the status quo. The anger needs to be directed

2021-02-21 20:31:27 UTC

I agree. But PFG is correct when he explains how the well-being of blacks hasn't shifted in any meaningful way

2021-02-21 20:32:00 UTC

who is PFG?

2021-02-21 20:38:01 UTC

just in case

2021-02-21 20:41:50 UTC

hi

2021-02-21 20:42:05 UTC

It does impact people's will but pop cultural representation doesn't translate into political power, and that particular type of cultural significance can never be translated into meaningful societal changes for my people. Black entertainers have always been a matter of fascination for the white majority in America since our arrival on the continent, but it has never meant political freedom. Crackers want to hear real life negro spirituals at a minstrel show or watch a black guitarist preform, or listen to N.W.A that doesn't mean they're prepared to relinquish societal control to us in a material way. Economically our communities are still dominated by non-black investment. Culturally Hollywood and Mass Media which is funded by the US state dictate anti-social criminality as inherently black, and politically black leaders calling for us to achieve popular national consciousness aren't allowed to hold office or achieve because of counterintelligence programs developed to dismantle our radical movements

2021-02-21 20:42:25 UTC

A few cracker teenagers thinking Lil Uzi Vert is cool is not political power

2021-02-21 20:42:33 UTC

@dana are you a hot girl?

2021-02-21 20:42:46 UTC

And it's not ever going to manifest as political power

2021-02-21 20:42:48 UTC

It never has

2021-02-21 20:42:51 UTC

yes . does any1 wana be the subject of my philosophy assignment

2021-02-21 20:43:03 UTC

ya

2021-02-21 20:43:04 UTC

me

2021-02-21 20:43:09 UTC

And if you think crackers are losing the culture war because white teens like rap you're actually retarded.

2021-02-21 20:46:44 UTC

Dude.... White hegemony is over... They put black people in video games 😩

2021-02-21 20:47:27 UTC

Forget about geopolitics and which countries control the global economy

2021-02-21 20:47:32 UTC

so because rap music isn't running for office and staging riots all over the country it doesn't mean your material condition is being changed

2021-02-21 20:47:37 UTC

I know a guy who stopped being racist because of rap music!

2021-02-21 20:47:42 UTC

Black people are taking over!

2021-02-21 20:48:21 UTC

Because rap music has not manifested in a change to our material conditions, I don't think it's meaningful politically.

2021-02-21 20:48:32 UTC

It's irrelevant.

2021-02-21 20:48:46 UTC

Why not

2021-02-21 20:49:01 UTC

Because it's proliferation doesn't affect us as a group materially.

2021-02-21 20:49:31 UTC

And it doesn't even really affect us metaphysically because it's in large part just a reflection of conditions as they exist.

2021-02-21 20:49:47 UTC

the fact of them not actively dispising blacks is enough for whites to loose political power it's like capitalist not actively union busting. Inorder to stabilise the political unity the goverment will have to long or short term satisfy black demands and the culture of this will lead to whites just sitting there or supporting it

2021-02-21 20:49:53 UTC

I guess hypermodern rap is meaningful because it's essentially neoliberal propaganda

2021-02-21 20:50:02 UTC

But so is all popular culture

2021-02-21 20:50:10 UTC

WHOAH

2021-02-21 20:50:16 UTC

When we don't actively hate black people

2021-02-21 20:50:51 UTC

But we still as a group have more economic and institutional power over them

2021-02-21 20:50:55 UTC

We are losing!

2021-02-21 20:51:14 UTC

Are you always this stupid?
