its an expensive cartridge more so than say 9 or 45

2018-07-25 19:41:44 UTC

guns using it reliaably are a bit more expensive as well

2018-07-25 19:41:57 UTC

parts and acessories are also more expensive \

2018-07-25 19:42:24 UTC

and outside of say bear bear defense or how do you say "outdoor defense" u wont get much use out of it

2018-07-25 19:42:36 UTC

unless ur looking to expand your handgun collection

2018-07-25 19:42:43 UTC

its a good caliber and all

2018-07-25 19:42:57 UTC

not something id reccoemend as a first handgun or even a second

2018-07-25 21:23:52 UTC

@John97 I have an M&P 2.0 .40

2018-07-25 21:24:47 UTC

I like the .40, I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's a bit more expensive than 9mm, but cheaper than .45

2018-07-25 21:32:45 UTC

A .40 S&W is a 10mm shortened. 10mm is pricey. Go with the .40 between the two.

2018-07-25 23:46:37 UTC

the ten mm is good against bears if your in bear country

2018-07-25 23:47:38 UTC

there sa good reason all the alphabet agencies and police depts are selling their 40s for 9s instead

2018-07-26 02:21:46 UTC

Yeah I hear 10mm is good if you're defending yourself against bears

2018-07-26 02:22:09 UTC

Why are police agencies going back to 9mm?

2018-07-26 03:38:48 UTC

Anyone have any experience with the .38 Super?

2018-07-26 04:02:08 UTC

why r u interested in this caliber?

2018-07-26 04:02:25 UTC

they are goign back to nine because with modern self defence ammunition

2018-07-26 04:02:39 UTC

9 mm velocity and stopping ability is more than suffecient

2018-07-26 04:03:00 UTC

plus u get a few more rounds 2withoput having to reload

2018-07-26 05:59:54 UTC

@Joe the boomer
9mm or .45? Your personal opinion.

2018-07-26 06:00:47 UTC

seriosuly

2018-07-26 06:00:48 UTC

either

2018-07-26 06:00:51 UTC

someone newer

2018-07-26 06:00:54 UTC

shud go 9

2018-07-26 06:01:46 UTC

given the nature of lower cap with 45s the 45 drifts into an experts defense weapon

2018-07-26 06:20:17 UTC

.45 1911 is a great pistol

2018-07-26 06:20:41 UTC

But also a Glock 17, 92fs, and Browning Hi Power are great 9mm

2018-07-26 06:21:27 UTC

depends on the 1911

2018-07-26 06:21:38 UTC

there r some doodoo ones out there

2018-07-26 06:22:01 UTC

i woudl avoid the browning highpower for a first 9

2018-07-26 06:22:22 UTC

little more finicky with parts and maintenance

2018-07-26 06:23:31 UTC

first 9 shud be some modern poly frame double stack blaster

2018-07-26 07:34:16 UTC

Glock 17 is good

2018-07-26 08:59:54 UTC

feel out the various poly framed guns out and see whihc one feels the best

2018-07-26 20:31:21 UTC

Lmao dude what are you talkin about the Browning hi-power is one of the best handguns chambered in 9 mm everyone recognizes this what do you mean by finicky LOL @Joe the boomer

2018-07-26 20:32:13 UTC

its construction is more complex than say any modern poly frame handgun that being said the hipower is a wonederfull handgun

2018-07-26 20:32:28 UTC
