@Bustin Ed I agree with you that it's obsolete modern era but it still has a place I don't think anyone could deny that if it's not broke you don't fix it man
You want a common enough gun so if shtf you can find spare parts easily
That would be my thinking anyway
dodnt listen to busting ed hes a retarded zoomer
1911s are great and the 45 acp with modern hollow points casue amazing amount of damage
but so do modenr 9mm hollow point
the 1911 really is just an experts handgun these days given the nature of whats avaiable
for your first hanfgun
it should be a poly 9
I'd probably pick a weapon based on how quickly it can be stripped, cleaned and reassembled as well tbh
The old Bren gun was a breeze to clean but the FN Mag the Irish army has is a Herculean task to clean
The cleaning kit is heavier than the weapon
When it comes to handguns if your not going for stopping power I dunno why you're even carrying one
its not about stopping power per hangdun
but per ammunition
all 9mm hollow points are not created equal
i use federal hst's
for my 45 acp
and will use them for my 9
for my 380 acp i think i have some cheap remingtons im not sure
havingt checked

it was hella revolutionary but compared to a modern design theres no question in capacity, reliability, and ease of disassembly
You can find a beretta for $450. The only thing i don't like about them is the sights aren't adjustable.
they're the most fun range gun in my experience
1911s are very easy to field strip
Can magazines be 3d printed yet
how would the spring work
You buy a spring or twist some wire up
@Joe the boomer But is it as easy to take apart as a Beretta or a Glock?
easier than a berreta in my opinion
on the glock you have to pull the trigger if i remeber or maybe thats changed
