Something light I could take to the range but also do 2gun with

a nice cz75 or mayeb ea barreta

I was thinking that too with a Beretta

cz makes mnice steel frame guns

Do you know what pistol would be best for 1 handed shooting?

Or any recommendations? Its a long story but /i have to shoot 1 handed for the forseeable future

@Bustin Ed I agree with you that it's obsolete modern era but it still has a place I don't think anyone could deny that if it's not broke you don't fix it man

You want a common enough gun so if shtf you can find spare parts easily

1911s are great and the 45 acp with modern hollow points casue amazing amount of damage

but so do modenr 9mm hollow point

the 1911 really is just an experts handgun these days given the nature of whats avaiable

for your first hanfgun

I'd probably pick a weapon based on how quickly it can be stripped, cleaned and reassembled as well tbh

The old Bren gun was a breeze to clean but the FN Mag the Irish army has is a Herculean task to clean

The cleaning kit is heavier than the weapon

When it comes to handguns if your not going for stopping power I dunno why you're even carrying one

but per ammunition

many may wonderful high quality hollowpoints to choose from

all 9mm hollow points are not created equal

i use federal hst's

for my 45 acp

and will use them for my 9

for my 380 acp i think i have some cheap remingtons im not sure

it was hella revolutionary but compared to a modern design theres no question in capacity, reliability, and ease of disassembly

You can find a beretta for $450. The only thing i don't like about them is the sights aren't adjustable.

they're the most fun range gun in my experience
