2018-10-01 23:22:03 UTC

I was thinking that too with a Beretta

2018-10-01 23:22:17 UTC

2018-10-01 23:22:23 UTC

Do you know what pistol would be best for 1 handed shooting?

2018-10-01 23:23:02 UTC

Or any recommendations? Its a long story but /i have to shoot 1 handed for the forseeable future

<:hottake:402375085199065101> 1911, despite being revolutionary at the time, is obsolete in the modern era <:hottake:402375085199065101>

2018-10-01 23:41:18 UTC

Understandable take big guy

2018-10-01 23:46:17 UTC

@Bustin Ed I agree with you that it's obsolete modern era but it still has a place I don't think anyone could deny that if it's not broke you don't fix it man

2018-10-02 00:30:17 UTC

You want a common enough gun so if shtf you can find spare parts easily

2018-10-02 00:31:44 UTC

That would be my thinking anyway

2018-10-02 00:37:11 UTC

dodnt listen to busting ed hes a retarded zoomer

2018-10-02 00:37:29 UTC

1911s are great and the 45 acp with modern hollow points casue amazing amount of damage

2018-10-02 00:37:38 UTC

but so do modenr 9mm hollow point

2018-10-02 00:37:55 UTC

the 1911 really is just an experts handgun these days given the nature of whats avaiable

2018-10-02 00:38:04 UTC

for your first hanfgun

2018-10-02 00:38:08 UTC

it should be a poly 9

2018-10-02 00:40:09 UTC

I'd probably pick a weapon based on how quickly it can be stripped, cleaned and reassembled as well tbh

2018-10-02 00:40:43 UTC

The old Bren gun was a breeze to clean but the FN Mag the Irish army has is a Herculean task to clean

2018-10-02 00:40:56 UTC

The cleaning kit is heavier than the weapon

2018-10-02 00:41:54 UTC

When it comes to handguns if your not going for stopping power I dunno why you're even carrying one

2018-10-02 00:42:23 UTC

its not about stopping power per hangdun

2018-10-02 00:42:28 UTC

but per ammunition

2018-10-02 00:42:45 UTC

many may wonderful high quality hollowpoints to choose from

2018-10-02 00:42:54 UTC

all 9mm hollow points are not created equal

2018-10-02 00:44:03 UTC

i use federal hst's

2018-10-02 00:44:08 UTC

for my 45 acp

2018-10-02 00:44:12 UTC

and will use them for my 9

2018-10-02 00:44:27 UTC

for my 380 acp i think i have some cheap remingtons im not sure

2018-10-02 00:44:30 UTC

havingt checked

it was hella revolutionary but compared to a modern design theres no question in capacity, reliability, and ease of disassembly

2018-10-02 16:23:48 UTC

You can find a beretta for $450. The only thing i don't like about them is the sights aren't adjustable.

2018-10-02 16:25:06 UTC

they're the most fun range gun in my experience
