well, I need to do some stuff but I'll be free in an hour or so to really sit down and discuss stuff

2017-10-22 16:58:16 UTC

Lorenzo, do you identify yourself as Fascist?

2017-10-22 16:58:47 UTC

Is it a long read? I'm going to start it now, since I just joined in yesterday

2017-10-22 16:59:30 UTC

I only identify myself as a traditionalist

2017-10-22 16:59:47 UTC

I'm writing my own political essays, and I study extremism at university for my second thesis

2017-10-22 16:59:49 UTC

We wont talk about it for a couple hours, text discussion will go on all day but we can do a voice chat later today, sometime around 8-10pm eastern.

2017-10-22 17:00:04 UTC

The book we shall discuss was actually part of my bibliography for my last thesis

2017-10-22 17:00:16 UTC

ah

2017-10-22 17:00:33 UTC

I'm hoping to create some kind of new movement here where I live

2017-10-22 17:00:59 UTC

To no longer have us worshipping the ashes of old doctrines, but actually preserving the fire that they felt.

2017-10-22 17:01:03 UTC

Rilath, it is a long read. You can still skim through it, possubly read a cliffnotes on it. But you can still particioate in the discussion, because I am sure we will touch upon topics that dont require you to have had read the book.

2017-10-22 17:01:18 UTC

Yeah.

2017-10-22 17:01:26 UTC

It's very accessible tbh

2017-10-22 17:01:41 UTC

and I can recomend a couple pages for you to read to generally get an idea of it all

2017-10-22 17:01:47 UTC

Alright boys new channel, lets keep that one uncluttered and only talk about the book.

2017-10-22 17:01:51 UTC

Specifically the last few pages are the most important

2017-10-22 17:01:58 UTC

kk

2017-10-22 17:14:32 UTC

@Polak Would it help to make that reading list open for contribution by everyone here?

2017-10-22 17:14:51 UTC

Or make a separate one that is like that.

2017-10-22 17:15:27 UTC

We could create a google doc paper

2017-10-22 17:15:45 UTC

This is a possible idea^

2017-10-22 17:53:06 UTC

google docs is a good doxing vector

2017-10-22 17:53:12 UTC

i dont recommend it

2017-10-22 18:05:05 UTC

Yeah, avoid (((google))) at all costs.

2017-10-22 18:08:00 UTC

Then are there any alternatives for a public document?

2017-10-22 18:25:34 UTC

plenty actually. google doesnt have a monopoly on sharing things

2017-10-22 18:25:43 UTC

you just have to....

2017-10-22 18:25:46 UTC

google for them :V

2017-10-22 18:34:11 UTC

For generic searches I'd go with duckduckgo, they don't store any data on your searches

2017-10-22 18:35:46 UTC

Here's 5 that could work

2017-10-22 20:17:36 UTC

We could use pastebin for this sort of thing.

2017-10-22 20:20:50 UTC

I like the idea.
