It's called DEFENSE, so it should be used for that purpose, not world police or growing heroin
"communist" nah
but some industries in the US should be supported
There's good regulation and bad regulation in my opinion.
I would say more than just keeping out of foreign countries
Stop sending money to the UN and other european countries
Good regulations include keeping corps from putting xenoestrogens in the consumption chain, bad regulations include the requirements to be an accredited investors and unnecessary licensing for small business
i think tarriffs and import quotas on foreign vehicles is fine in some cases
the us auto industrys health is good for the country
we need to protect that sector
I think as for the defense, definitely send the UN to some other globalist country like Canada, and NATO is irrelevant after the cold war.
rent control is a socialist practice
and only increases rent prices
price floors for US agriculture is commie practice too
but thats good for national security
As for protectionism, I support it to make keeping business in the US more cost-effective for business
also we're like the largest exporter of food
well the most cost effective solution would be to outsource labor in third world countries
I'm a bit interested in neo-merchantilism for our trade model.
lower wages is the most cost effective method
mercantilism is socialist policy
that means government controls trade
fully to balance the trade budget
which we are not balanced at the moment since we import more than we export
thats juist more government control though
I think we've got to pick and choose what we do
well under that model we surrender more fiscal and monetary policies to the government
which i am against
i am against printing more money to solve trade balance
increasing money supply is no good
however allowing the government to invest in domestic businesses is a good fiscal policy
I do want to have a solution to the trade deficit
To make it more cost-effective to have business in the US and exporting and the such
see yeah it would be nice to have a positive trade balance. we do need to improve certain sectors in the united states
but with countries like china and now india making cheap ass products it becomes too easy to import from them
modern day slavery is good for almost everyone
I'm a nationalist and populist more than I'm a pure capitalist
yeah id side with more laissez faire policies
but do understand some regulations are required
but yeah i would also call myself a nationalism
