Not sure which sources you think are funded by Merck and Paul Offit. Comparison of Blood and Brain Mercury Levels in Infant Monkeys Exposed to Methylmercury or Vaccines Containing Thimerosal was supported by NIH. Neurotoxic character of thimerosal and the allometric extrapolation of adult clearance half‐time to infants had no outside funding. If you're refering to Nelson and Bauman, I know you didn't even open the link as it's a response to Bernard et al's article you spam about once a day. It was written by two independent scientists with no funding from AAP. The fact that it was published in a journal by AAP is moot. It doesn't really surprise me that you'd overlook this as fabricating conflicts of interest when you don't like the findings seems to sadly be your one and only trick. If you really want to talk about dodgy sources though, look to Corvelva. They never disclose their researchers, they never publish in journals, they rarely disclose their methods and when they do, it's hilarious. Take the recent analysis of priorix you're so fond of citing. They prepared samples in an undisclosed manner, sent them off to an undisclosed lab in another country and compared the results to an undisclosed genome. Nevermind transparency or reproducibility. As long as it agrees with your worldview, it's all good right. I hope the irony isn't lost

i hope all anti vaxxers get measles

2019-11-03 14:46:57 UTC

@Sloan Jask your sources are garbage and you should check them out before posting them

2019-11-03 14:48:23 UTC

@Sloan Jask not moot in the fact that the source that posted it is bias lol and the research is most likely bullshit propaganda

2019-11-03 14:49:19 UTC

and i did open the link but obviously you did not open mine

2019-11-03 14:49:30 UTC

AAP is funded by merck

2019-11-03 14:51:26 UTC

see they do what is called advocacy research and that is tainted lol

2019-11-03 14:51:43 UTC

“People just don’t do it,” Wharton School professor and forecasting expert J. Scott Armstrong told Brietbart.com after making the shocking claim that less that one percent of papers published in scientific journals follow the scientific method

2019-11-03 14:51:58 UTC

According to Armstrong, “the goal of objectivity is one that is sought but seldom achieved because the bias of the researcher is always present. [One researcher, Mitroff] concluded that scientists [become] famous not by being objective, but by being advocates. This appears to be true. Advocacy is a good strategy for career advancement. However, I believe that it is bad advice for making scientific contributions.”

2019-11-03 14:52:32 UTC

“What’s happening now is, government research, universities — they’re asking for what I call advocacy research. They have something, they want you to prove it, make sure you prove it, [and when] you do, you keep getting paid,” he said in a separate article on Breitbart.com.
“Advocacy research is the bulk of these 99 percent of non-scientific studies and they’re not done for scientific development, they’re done to support a political idea. If you want to make money in universities these days, you publish papers that support global warming and you live handsomely.”

2019-11-03 14:52:54 UTC

same with the vaccine industry

2019-11-03 14:53:02 UTC

all about money

2019-11-03 14:53:21 UTC

“Truth” has a price tag
This is such a fascinating idea to consider; particularly as the base motivation for these “scientists” appear to be more focused on capitalism rather than accuracy. Armstrong argued that being politically convenient is more rewarding both financially and in terms of one’s career.
“[Scientists] cheat. If you don’t get statistically significant results, then you throw out variables, add variables, [and] eventually you get what you want,” he concluded.

2019-11-03 14:53:45 UTC

Scientists are human. Scientists have a vested interest in promoting their work, often for status and further research funding, although sometimes for direct financial gain. This can lead to selective reporting of results and occasionally, exaggeration. Peer review is not infallible: journal editors might favour positive findings and newsworthiness. Multiple, independent sources of evidence and replication are much more convincing

2019-11-03 14:54:52 UTC

So your source that is funded by merck is not a valid source of info and is more likely tainted to push a agenda

2019-11-03 14:55:19 UTC

@Sloan Jask let me know when you produce a good source

2019-11-03 14:57:19 UTC

lol and seems you dont like the sources that go against the government sources that we know lie
