I agree. Regardless of the fact that we may disagree on _why_ it works, we all know that it does work

2019-11-18 06:28:58 UTC

lol. right

2019-11-18 06:30:16 UTC

So, how'd you get into flat Earth?

2019-11-18 06:30:27 UTC

how many hours do you have?

2019-11-18 06:30:31 UTC

🙂

2019-11-18 06:31:11 UTC

short answer...I've always been a truth seeker..and while working on a prototype for one of my companies I was listening to a podcast (dont like music so much..I go for learning)

2019-11-18 06:31:18 UTC

I'd say about 15 minutes total before the sleep meds kick in

2019-11-18 06:31:26 UTC

lol

2019-11-18 06:31:46 UTC

and the flat earth topic came up and it was new to me so...I had to find out more

2019-11-18 06:32:12 UTC

I'm a PhD scientist so I guess I have a natural curiosity about how stuff works

2019-11-18 06:32:27 UTC

so.....that started me on the journey

2019-11-18 06:33:00 UTC

True. Out of curiosity, what was your doctoral thesis on?

2019-11-18 06:33:32 UTC

apologies but I don't share that. it's such a very niche field that it would be easy to self-dox. but the general field is Chemistry

2019-11-18 06:34:14 UTC

The general field was all I was interested in, so you're all good

2019-11-18 06:34:20 UTC

😉

2019-11-18 06:34:31 UTC
2019-11-18 06:34:32 UTC

good to hear. my "troll radar" has been turned off 🙂

2019-11-18 06:34:40 UTC

👌

2019-11-18 06:34:41 UTC

Hey @INNR-G . how goes it?

2019-11-18 06:34:51 UTC

I was never really one for chem myself, it's always been physics for me

2019-11-18 06:35:13 UTC

yeah I have a minor in chemistry...just from the core curriculum

2019-11-18 06:35:17 UTC

I meant physics

2019-11-18 06:35:29 UTC

Ah

2019-11-18 06:35:32 UTC

I was focused more on P-chem

2019-11-18 06:35:37 UTC

than wet chemistry

2019-11-18 06:35:41 UTC

Just reading yall comments.

@gohan what makes you interested in flat earth?

2019-11-18 06:36:10 UTC

For me, it's moreso the people and the evidence they can gather

2019-11-18 06:37:08 UTC

Because in doing my own personal (albeit limited) experimentation, I've almost always found the evidence to support an oblate spheroidal Earth, so I want to hear about the methods that lead to evidence for the opposite result

2019-11-18 06:37:36 UTC

phd how are you?

2019-11-18 06:37:42 UTC

ah ok. the opposite for me :). the cumulative data better supports a flat earth model in my evaluation of it

2019-11-18 06:37:49 UTC

I feel that. We're just very curious you know. When you get lied to about everything, you just want to know how deep the rabbit hole gets

2019-11-18 06:37:52 UTC

@Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids I'm alive again today! all the rest is a bonus 🙂

2019-11-18 06:37:54 UTC

how are you?

2019-11-18 06:37:59 UTC

good 🙂

2019-11-18 06:38:03 UTC

excellent

2019-11-18 06:38:18 UTC

any day above ground is a great day. one more day to learn 😉

2019-11-18 06:38:39 UTC

sounds good to me

2019-11-18 06:38:45 UTC

I'm not complaining...

2019-11-18 06:38:53 UTC

@INNR-G I'm a curious person too, the only difference being that I can't seem to find the logical path that leads to the conclusion of a flat earth

2019-11-18 06:39:12 UTC

But that's okay, I wouldn't be able to have good discussions and meet interesting people if these differences didn't exist

2019-11-18 06:39:25 UTC

good attitude!
