@Flat Earth PhD can I see picture of that

2019-11-18 15:09:41 UTC

then there is the lack of evidence.

2019-11-18 15:10:07 UTC

e.g. it's clear the moon landings were faked....

2019-11-18 15:10:13 UTC

but one could imagine a reason why at that time.

2019-11-18 15:10:18 UTC

morning, cat! how you doing?

2019-11-18 15:10:22 UTC

Yeah they were faked

2019-11-18 15:10:28 UTC

decent drew. how are you?

2019-11-18 15:10:30 UTC

but doesn't explain why everything stopped...nobody followed.

2019-11-18 15:10:54 UTC

and we have nothing there. no cameras. no telescopes. no rovers. no lunar tourism....

2019-11-18 15:11:11 UTC

It's also convenient we see 1 side of the moon and the shadows of the craters stay fixed

2019-11-18 15:11:12 UTC

But, I believe you can't cast shadows on a light, though.

2019-11-18 15:11:22 UTC

I'm good! had a decent weekend @Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids

2019-11-18 15:11:34 UTC

well no drew

2019-11-18 15:11:51 UTC

if you see the moon image in a high end planetarium, you can see craters...shadows...the things look so darn real today

2019-11-18 15:11:56 UTC

try casting a shadow on a lit lightbulb. it wont work

2019-11-18 15:12:10 UTC

exactly, now take a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSPstsNJ9jI

2019-11-18 15:12:26 UTC

there's shadows on them there craters.

2019-11-18 15:12:29 UTC

ask any professional artist what the moon should look like if illuminated by a light source

2019-11-18 15:12:37 UTC

it never matches what we see

2019-11-18 15:12:53 UTC

oh, I am one!

2019-11-18 15:12:57 UTC

a professional artist, I mean.

2019-11-18 15:13:37 UTC

lastly.....it is has been observed by others that moonlight cools objects. the opposite of sunlight. but I'm taking that with a grain of salt until I do the experiment myself here in Switzerland with 3 other PhD colleagues

2019-11-18 15:13:50 UTC

as a double blind study

2019-11-18 15:14:04 UTC

Yeah, I can't verify the cool moonlight, myself, so I keep an open mind on that one.

2019-11-18 15:14:05 UTC

Moonlight emits cold rays? Colder than in shadows also?

2019-11-18 15:14:16 UTC

in other words moonlight literally cools things

2019-11-18 15:14:19 UTC

thats what some people say

2019-11-18 15:14:32 UTC

so an object in the moonlight will be cooler than an object in the shade of moonlight

2019-11-18 15:14:39 UTC

and the numbers I've seen are impessive

2019-11-18 15:14:40 UTC

Wow we all sync up then with the moonlight cold

2019-11-18 15:14:51 UTC

we're not talking 0.01 degrees. but on the order of 4 to 5 degrees

2019-11-18 15:14:57 UTC

but I need to verify for myself

2019-11-18 15:15:18 UTC

So the question is does it give off its own light source, it must right?

2019-11-18 15:15:26 UTC

yes

2019-11-18 15:15:58 UTC

how do you explain phases of the moon?

2019-11-18 15:16:34 UTC

have you seen those moon lamps that actually have phases?

2019-11-18 15:16:46 UTC

If not I'll have to go find an image. it's the best visual I think

2019-11-18 15:16:46 UTC

i dont think so

2019-11-18 15:16:54 UTC

ok. will see if I can find one. brb

2019-11-18 15:16:57 UTC

ok

2019-11-18 15:17:48 UTC

I think I know those lamps
