You have to come first.
And psychological
Gov't smells profit from marriage.
There's really no point.
Men see it as woman is mine!
It would be the thing that haunts your marriage
Gov’t loses money from marriage m8
Women can just put any man's name down and say they're the father.
Less tax revenues
Force them to pay.
Also green card
Can't stand illegals who come in and have 10 kids and make the state pay for them.
marriage is a scam
It's a scam for men
Marriage saves you money
thats true lol
For women, marriages = security.
marraige is just tradition and imo has no real purpose besides stuff given by the government
For men, = trapped
It’s only a scam if you play a game of it
I'm doubtful that majority of you have been married which is correct right?
They say woman can't leave me now
She's under a contract hahahahahah
i dont beleive in marraige so
i obvs wont and havent been
The purpose of marriage from a functionalist perspective is to create a stronger bond with legal and social pressures to prevent a split. That is ultimately healthiest for children
*woman cheats on man*

And children should always be the top priority
The state doesn't want you to get divorced.
That's why they make it so rigorous.
The whole point of marriage is to have children anyways
Well yeah but it’s not because they profit from your continued union
@Dear Mason if you have two couples that have been together for 10 years. one couple is married and the other isnt. is the unmarried couple any less valid ?
At least it used to be the reason most people would get married
well for my slut-whore-bimb of a mom, it was all about her so i moved to my Dad's house
cheating is so common bec i think humans arent naturally 100% monogamous and also when people are trapped in a cruddy relationship ofc they are gonna wanna find someone else
@Atlas the Friendly Robot Did say that one is less valid if they aren't married?
That's false @*ᶜʳᵒⁿᶜʰ*
And up to opinion
We don’t actually have a way to know if cheating is common
