I hate the way it sounds. Anyone can make rap now a days and make thousands just saying slang and crappy words. It goes against my whole definition of music. Music is supposed to speak the words you can’t express, you’re supposed to put all your emotion into it. This modern day rap is just repeating words all with the same goal to make quick money with shitty lyrics. I personally don’t see the beauty in modern day rap.

rap originally had that intention of being inspirational and con-traversal while having a real message but that all got lost somewhere along the line and fyi many a black rap artists would agree

There is some good rap but a lot of it now is mumble rapping which I don't like much

shunting an entire genre into a tiny pinhole is also not on, but i think Metallica is referring to in general and yeah the latest releases
