Translations aren't undertaken from 3rd languages, they're undertaken from the source languages with other translations used for reference. But those other translations/explanations improve the translation, they're special translations that we have a tradition as to their accuracy: the Targumim and the Septuagint

People who study the Bible don't "study" the KJV, they study the original, they know how to speak Hebrew Aramaic and Greek
