Lmao.
There are people who take that stuff seriously
Yes it is. It’s literally how I started liking the guy.
The media will pull one line out of context and run with it.
Then you look it up and sure enough it’s bullshit.
I just wish he'd be a little more careful with how he speaks. His jokes are actually truth for some people
Our climate is much better than it was 50 years ago here in the states. We have some of the cleanest air and water for populated modern countries as a whole. We continue to cut emissions.
We don't have the cleanest air and water among modern countries
And our carbon emissions have gone up
Also. We have some of the cleanest and highest regulated drinking water in the world. Probably the cleanest. Not to mention the very high regulation done on state and federal level for natural wildlife and water structures. So much so that a farmer can’t even put rock in a river near his property or create a man made reservoir on his property to control water for his fields.
In most areas.
So we are leading the decline but we still produce a lot of carbon, even more so then China?
And once again no. We don't have the cleanest water. Yes we have lots of regulation but we still have lower quality of water and air than a lot of other modern countries.
Show me proof to your claims. Have you seen the water and air quality in China or India?
If you’re talking about Canada sure. I would assume they have good quality there.
The fact the all the European countries as a whole were put together on that chart
Oof
You do know the size of European countries right?
If that's the case Russia should be on there
And Canada
But that still doesn't take away that we don't have one of the cleanest air and water in the world
We have some of the cleanest.
Maybe not in comparison to emissions of a small country in Europe.
You can’t really judge air quality by total emissions, honestly.
Regardless. We’ve continued to make progress and will continue to make progress.
Also, I’d like to point out that in places like LA you’re going to see bad air quality. Think of a population being that dense and everyone driving around cars 24-7. We have many conveniences at dense populations, that most countries don’t. This contributes a lot more to air quality. Because it’s harder to point a finger at joe who’s commuting to his job than it is to point a finger at industry and agricultural entities. However, progress is being made through things like the clean air act where they can point fingers. Also, most states\cities\counties with dense population have developed air emission regulation and requirements for vehicles.
Also thank you for proving my point with the source you linked.
Orange bad
