@MountainMan It's called the `Imperial Unarem Republic`. Basically just the government pulling a North Korea with, "Yeah, we're totally a republic and/or democracy, we totally don't have unilateral control". But the culture is very middle eastern. This is also a region that has seen large amounts of migration, both permanent and nomadic, over thousands of years, hence some of the names that stand out.

And the name `Unarem`, I literally came up with by taking the first two letters of each word in `United Arab Emirates`.
