I'm just... Really frustrated. Like it's really apparent that there's a ton of effort into making each character have as good as a moveset with as much synergy as possible.
And that's the number one thing you should do for a platformer.
I don't think Sonic Team has done that at all since the original Sonic Adventure, and it definitely would explain the pervasive amounts of jank that exists to this day.

That looks really tight. I think this might be the first time I've been legitimately impressed by a Sonic fangame, let alone a 3D one.
It reminds me of the demo for Sonic Utopia, except it looks as if it doesn't control like ass.
