yea a other game did go epic only after a successful Kickstarter that did promise steam/gog keys.
Other developers is complaining that they are feeling the effects of it as people no longer show much interest in Kickstarter as they are with the motion that they probably just go epic exclusive anyway at a later point so why bother asking the fans for money first

fwiw, I only buy disc based games because it's harder to find ISO's online for them on sites that aren't infested with malware and popups.
