like they all worked together

2019-04-26 00:55:27 UTC

Well they sure don't go after their own

2019-04-26 00:55:32 UTC

yeah they do

2019-04-26 00:55:34 UTC

like all the time lol

2019-04-26 00:55:36 UTC

Barely

2019-04-26 00:55:41 UTC

back then even

2019-04-26 00:55:51 UTC

It's like how conservatives "don't punch right"

2019-04-26 00:56:15 UTC

well i mean, it's easy to just say 'the muslims' because any of them could have gone raiding christians without guilt

2019-04-26 00:56:31 UTC

but it ignores a lot of details like, whatever emir or sultan ordered the raids

2019-04-26 00:56:43 UTC

or the left doesn't punch left

2019-04-26 00:56:56 UTC

As a Westerner, why is any of that important?

2019-04-26 00:57:09 UTC

well personally, I like to know more about the world outside of the west

2019-04-26 00:57:18 UTC

That's fine

2019-04-26 00:57:24 UTC

I don't want it IN the west tho

2019-04-26 00:57:28 UTC

how others perceive the west is interesting

2019-04-26 00:57:45 UTC

yeah the only way to learn about it is to bring it all here /sarcasm

2019-04-26 00:57:51 UTC

lol

2019-04-26 00:58:15 UTC

i wanna learn about islam, the best way to do that is to take a dick in the ear <:HonkHonk:566814473646768128>

2019-04-26 00:58:29 UTC

Or some acid to the face

2019-04-26 00:58:35 UTC

sigh i guess so

2019-04-26 00:58:55 UTC

richard bulliet was the only guy i remember listening to about muslim history

2019-04-26 00:59:11 UTC

besides that, there's History of Byzantium, but it's not much

2019-04-26 03:17:22 UTC

I still have to read the quran

2019-04-26 07:17:31 UTC

What's ironic is you cant own a machine gun without a ton of red tape in America, but you can own a ww1/2 era tank.

2019-04-26 07:46:28 UTC

But that is germany

2019-04-26 07:47:07 UTC

Can only own a gun that was build before 1871 without having a license

2019-04-26 12:15:15 UTC

I remember that story. The guy had been using it as a snow tractor for decades but he drew a bit too much of the spotlight so the government stepped in

2019-04-26 12:45:39 UTC

Honestly I think you could own an Abrams

2019-04-26 12:46:21 UTC

I'm not aware of any cases of such, but I don't think any laws prohibit it.

2019-04-26 12:49:42 UTC

There are no laws about tanks in the US.

It's basically a fancy tractor, and there's no ammo.

2019-04-26 14:35:39 UTC

as long as the guns are deactivated, you can own one in norway but you cant drive it on public roads

2019-04-26 17:01:55 UTC

Well yeah you can't here in America either to my knowledge.

2019-04-26 17:02:24 UTC

So transporting them is probably a massive headache. Who tows tanks?

2019-04-26 18:20:13 UTC

Big trucks

2019-04-26 18:20:57 UTC

Typically they are deactivated by sawing the breech block open somehow, but there are some people who own operational old equipment, typically for historical demonstrations and firing old surplus armor piercing solid shot ammunition. Don't know the hoops to get that transition though

2019-04-27 19:39:51 UTC

just load the tank on your donkey

2019-04-27 21:28:46 UTC

Amazing!
