when i tried to investigate the leave group overspending, it turned out that the remain side had 2 campaign groups which had maxed out their allowance, lol
whereas the leave side had 1 which had only just overspent
in total, the remain side had thus spent almost twice as much
and that isn't including the leaflets cameron sent out
i'm fairly convinced there is some sort of psy-ops going on on twitter too (but no proof)
every time a brexit supporter who is relatively popular tweets something pro-brexit, they get tons of tweets criticizing and demeaning them, and hte people who respond to the tweet
when remain supporters do it, very few criticism - because you know, brexiteers aren't scouring tweets of remainers they're not interested in
and if you go to other platforms, like youtube comments - you don't see this behaviour at all
The comments are always manipulated when there is a need to push a narrative
It's not a conspiracy
Plenty of proof
there are just way too many, very intelligent sounding, remain supporters, with apparently nothing to do but tweet all day in criticism of pro-brexiteers on twitter
just doesn't seem natural, to me
You can not be wise and a remainer at the same time
i mean they type eloquently
like they would probably have a decent job irl
Ye meant to say wise
Intelligence =/= Wisdom
ah
yes, you can be intelligent but hold weird beliefs
I'm sure they are bunch up people who are well educated and have decent jobs that support Trudeau
/hate Trump

I call it Chomsky Syndrome. Noam Chomsky's background is linguistics not politics or economics. His work on language acquisition is foundational. But he's mostly known for his childish and I'll informed opinions on politics.
Ill informed. Bloody auto-complete.
There are infinite ways to go insane and everyone regardless of their IQ, genetics, background, race, religion etc etc can easily find their way there.
i have a friend who really likes chomsky, so i got a book of his
his book seems very... conspiracy theorist in nature
it makes it sound like the world is ran by a few evil men in america
who all secretive
and who are basically supervillains
the book certainly brought up some interesting historical events and such that i wasn't aware of, or made some interesting points but... i wasn't really swayed
I like Chomsky's piece of manufactured consent. He's a leftist hero, but his words apparently fell on deaf ears.
on*
or maybe they just think that's something that only non-believers can fall prey to
Like I said his real work is on language acquisition. Which is a bitch of a read even when you study that. For the rest I have what I call "the Chomsky Model" the CM states that, regardless of the reason Chomsky offers, if you assume that the locus of all Evil in the world is America you will reach the same conclusion as Chomsky. The CM has over a 0.9 predictive success rate so it's pretty solid.
Someone dump that in Athens
