So a Democrat in West Virginia could be more related to a republican in Oregon

2019-05-14 13:59:05 UTC

Ahhhhhh!

2019-05-14 13:59:17 UTC

i would call them just different branches of the republican party tho

2019-05-14 13:59:25 UTC

And a Texas republican might have radical different ideas then someone from California?

2019-05-14 13:59:28 UTC

different legal entities which are actually one

2019-05-14 13:59:39 UTC

But they have no allegiance to other state parties, or an overarching authority

2019-05-14 13:59:43 UTC

seems pretty fitting

2019-05-14 13:59:48 UTC

very cool

2019-05-14 14:00:09 UTC

So yeah, we have parties, but like 100+ lol

2019-05-14 14:00:17 UTC

<:GWcorbinTopKek:384871333705678868>

2019-05-14 14:00:34 UTC

There is NO allegiance to any party

2019-05-14 14:00:45 UTC

very epic

2019-05-14 14:01:07 UTC

So if lets say you would run as a republican, that wouldnt really say much about the party as a whole, correct?

2019-05-14 14:01:15 UTC

Right

2019-05-14 14:01:21 UTC

Very cool.

2019-05-14 14:01:35 UTC

But the party can't do shit if you're actually a secret commie

2019-05-14 14:01:49 UTC

Yeah. Which is a problem lmao.

2019-05-14 14:01:57 UTC

Cant do that overhere. <:GWcorbinTopKek:384871333705678868>

2019-05-14 14:02:09 UTC

Cant hide your ideology. If someone finds out you're fired.

2019-05-14 14:02:38 UTC

Which is good imo. I want people to be truthful. And I want the people representing the parties to actualyl represent them well.

2019-05-14 14:03:12 UTC

(Thing is, if they already have a seat somewhere, and get fired, their seat is not lost. They still sit there. We call them political wildlings.)

2019-05-14 14:03:18 UTC

Well shouldn't they be representing the people, not the party?

2019-05-14 14:03:48 UTC

Well the parties are branches of the people, showing what different groups need and requires.

2019-05-14 14:04:06 UTC

A Social Democrat and a Moderate both represent the people

2019-05-14 14:04:18 UTC

That's why trump was so popular at first: he represented the people, not the party.

Mainstream Republicans hated him

2019-05-14 14:04:18 UTC

but they have different ideas

2019-05-14 14:04:53 UTC

We dont really have it like that, the parties are supposed to represent their people and their voters. Some parties are more populist than others though, and listen more.

2019-05-14 14:04:59 UTC

Like SD for example.

2019-05-14 14:05:23 UTC

Which are trying to represent many people on the right political side over here

2019-05-14 14:06:06 UTC

When I run next year for commune I'll either run with my groups name, or I'll join some party. πŸ‘Œ

VFU gang <:GWrverifyRoDab:383684375293722634>

What Buzzfeed doesn't know

is we wanted them to attack the 14yo girl <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>

If the DNC thinks impeaching trump is a trap. How do we get them to think censoring conservatives is a trap?
