do have a former friend that was in a drunk crash, he was thrown out of the car via the windshield. his face did look like jigsaw but no other inures. the police did say strait out if he had been sober or using his seatbelt he had not survived as the car did go up in a fireball a few seconds after the crash

when you are sober a normal reaction is to stiff up all your muscles in anticipation of the crash, that dont happen when you are drunk and you just become a rag doll

yea, not crashing at all is the best. still the outcome in this case was he did survive, was fined for drunk driving. and as it was not the first drunk related accident he did loose his right to own and drive a motor vehicle for life with a minimum 10 years before he was able to apply to have it undone
