but thats how infuriating the current situation is
I feel sorry for your parents though
I hope you and your family are safe
it fortunately wasnt a safety issue, in fact they are rather friendly when it comes to business

however you cant say anything against prayer at 6
or partying until late into the night durign ramadan
Jeez
so for them it was like, cant sleep during the night during the week
cant sleep longer on the weekend
That sucks
Earplugz may help but music is haram
So during ramadan listening to music loud isnt religious at all
can t use earplugs when youve got to stand up in the morning
on the weekend they tried it out
but its not particularly comfy
Atleast there was no violence
especially when its in a park surrounded by buildings the acoustics are rather
penetrating
violence is another topic
Oh okay
recently an occurence of a teacher being bullied and physically assaulted made national headlines
British right
austrian
<:HonkHonk:566814473646768128> well that explains it
Dont go brenton terrent. Violence isnt the anwser......... yet
it would be no exaggeration that vienna has gone kinda to shit in the last 20 years
like my school days were basically littered with fights starting from elemental
Polish hussars died for nothing?
remains to be seen
but eastern europeans are a problem as well
sounds harsh
but just like in more western parts they are accepting lower pay and lower working conditions, to a point that its better going east
e.g. if i would still be working in the automotive industry, i would make more money by working for VW in Slovakia than building trailers in Vienna
not to mention that that place would be a lot cleaner and safer
but yeah, only exposure to the issues seemingly change opinions, but once everyone is subjected to that it pretty much would be too late
interesting in this regard
the SPÖ is left, the FPÖ right, and the ÖVP "center" (as in just flip flop to get a coalition)
to note is that things are going very well in Styria and Upper Austria, which would be the middle
