That is how negotiations work, you give a little and get a little. In this case, the Turks cant say that you're threatening their border, and will not attack

2019-10-17 18:55:58 UTC

The KPP is no more our ally than Al Quida

2019-10-17 18:56:02 UTC

The U.S. should recognize Kurdistan in Iraq and Syria and put them under (non-socialist) friendly Iraqi Kurd leadership. Then give an ultimatum for Turkey to leave. That way we can force Turkey out, strengthen the Kurds and undermine Assad and the socialist Kurds.

2019-10-17 18:56:31 UTC

well if the kurds are commies then they should get glassed with the rest of the lot

2019-10-17 18:56:35 UTC

But iraq isnt stable enough to handle a mass influx of KPP

2019-10-17 18:56:39 UTC

Turkey is already calling off their offensive if the Kurdish forces leave the safe zone.

2019-10-17 18:56:50 UTC

>The SDF got angry when the Turks wanted to cause a demographic shift

You're a brainlet man. Of course they got angry. @Goblin_Slayer_Floki

2019-10-17 18:57:16 UTC

So again. Isn't this a good thing?

2019-10-17 18:57:26 UTC

What? Demographic shift?

2019-10-17 18:57:41 UTC

They are moving 3,6 million arabs into a predominantly Kurdish and Syriac region.

2019-10-17 18:57:41 UTC

> Demographic shift. Aka return non Kurdish Syrians who fled to Trukey

2019-10-17 18:57:47 UTC

Invade Thrace, set up a Turkish safe-zone for all the Turkish migrants in Germany <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>

2019-10-17 18:57:48 UTC

No. The ceasefire and following peace deal

2019-10-17 18:58:40 UTC

I don't know or really care about the immigration thing. I'm talking about preventing the Kurds from getting murder fucked.

2019-10-17 18:58:44 UTC

2019-10-17 18:59:46 UTC

What the Turkish idea intailed was move 3,6 million people into this area. Make it a "democracy" basically making the people who lived there a minority in their own homes and giving them no chance to make rules fitting for themselves. @Goblin_Slayer_Floki

2019-10-17 18:59:52 UTC

And tbh. We have no requirement to protect the kurds. We do however have a NATO Treaty with the Turks

2019-10-17 19:00:27 UTC

US negotiated to prevent Turkish invasion of Syria. Like. How is there not a celebration?

2019-10-17 19:00:31 UTC

@MountainMan it was the people in the syrian refugee camps
That they couldnt afford to keep, because the EU flaked on paying g them.

2019-10-17 19:00:42 UTC

@MountainMan aren't they syrians tho

2019-10-17 19:00:49 UTC

and turkey wants them to go back to syria

2019-10-17 19:00:50 UTC

2019-10-17 19:01:15 UTC
