tiny homes are imo a pretty interesting concept if you treat them like rooms
as long as you have land you can expand infinitely
A 12 or 13 year old built his own tiny home
have one for you and your wife
you get a child
child grows older
He only got help/hired someone for a counter concrete pour, and the electrical
"go build your own home"
child moves on
rent said home

when I did grow up it was normal that we did "borrow" lumber to build our own play cabins in the woods.
you gotta live in the right area though
i think most people did something with wood at some point
males at least
well it a good place to do shit that get you in trouble normally and not get caught
though that probably has changed from when i was young

yea, think that freedom kids did have back then is gone
one of my nephews is the perfect example, bordering on autism due to bad parenting
some of the kids now have even a stricter schedule then a prisoner. every moment is planned down to the minute
not to mention one of my tablet raised cousins
and they wonder why kids are going crazy
that explains a lot
yeah
he even tried to defend it saying letting kids use hammers is dangerous and stuff
how
at some point in your life you need a hammer
even if you just want to hang a picture

they sell kid hammers, and kids that did get such a thing are the the ones that probably are successful today
speaking of
took my kiddo to the toy store at the weekend
they were selling a kid's real tool set
at first I thought it was a toy
but had real metal tools in
but he wanted a Barbie doll instead
including hammer, screwdrivers, adjustable spanner, tape measure and etc
