I bet you weren't even born when Stallman singlehandedly wrote a compiler and the core GNU tools.
But hey, you have an opinion, ill informed as it is.
what was that in 1991?
1984
june
Bitch, go delete everything in your GNU/Linux system except for `/boot`, tell me how much usable your computer is.
The Free Software Foundation defines software freedom in 4 levels:
* Freedom to use the software any way you want
* Freedom to study its source.
* Freedom to share it.
* Freedom to improve it (and share the improvements.)
What's your beef with it?
with the header?
words follow it
You're just angry that you write/use nonfree software, so you have to attack Stallman because he makes you feel guilty.
I know what GCC is
Wow, get this man a Turing Award.
🔥
why would i feel guilty using gpl software
why would i attack some fruitcake for his hokey commie ideology
study the man closely
he eats skin off his toes during interviews
Commie?
Are you retarded?
i suspect he sits on the work of others and cant code for s†††he admits he spends most of his time writing propaganda for gnu these days
So you're one of those dumbasses that think the "Free" in "Free Software" means "free beer".
no
it says in the license that it does not
many companies wont touch anything GPL, not even for output-only
Except for the linux kernel, right?
Oh, and GCC.
Oh, and GDB.
stallman's computing needs can be met by a typewriter and fax machine, and acts like everyone else's should too
Oh, and gtk+.
Oh, and Cairo.
im sure Linus would be happy if he didnt need GCC for kernel
That's just a wild accusation out of your ass.
people have to SET UP rms computer to use
he doesnt even know how to intall an os
The accusation that he "acts like everyone else should to" is ad hominem.
ive looked up everything i can find on the man
when he says my fake freedom is more important than my productivity
The guy wrote a compiler from scratch, having to figure it out himself. One of the most powerful text editors. Nearly all the command line utilities that everyone uses every day on any unix system.
"Dude, he's an idiot, can't even install an OS."
