I was thinking about it. If marxists honestly believe that Communism failed because of other capitalist states, how can they still be advocating for communism in individual countries? They basically just admitted that without a worldwide revolution failure is inevitable. @Wasabi Knight I suspect they're not hoping for a world-wide revolution. I think they're hoping for a world-wide gradual conversation so that they preserve just enough capitalism to spread their message and protect themselves from collapse.
