I am nothing but disdain for the smut peddling charlatans who are ripe in numbers on YouTube
what do you watch?
Sargon is quite literally the only YouTuber I bother with besides the occasional Layman video
@Deleted User Teach the Liberalists about your ways. Bestow them your wisdom.
Sargon despite being a lazy scholar has the humility to know when he is not read enough on a topic
@INNØS I hope to elevate their minds
But a complaint I have about Sargon actually relates to liberalism
One can find Sargon’s steam profile and it displays a profoundly large amount of hours invested into ARK
Nearly 2k hours
I play quite a bit of CS:GO and im not even close to 1k hours
If he is seriously going to forward a political moment he needs to stop gaming and getting his wife to clean the shitstreaks from his underwater
Political organising is a lot of work
he still manages to do a lot
And it’s about time he improves his utilisation of time
Yes, which is why I didn’t mind when he was just making YouTube content
But now that he’s invested himself into this movement he must think differently
@M4Gunner I do that with CSGO yet only have 800 hours
Even while idling
The hours that Sargon has racked up are astronomical
between research, writing, editing, doing live stuff, making time for his family, and getting some leisure time, I would say he is doing pretty good
He says he plays ark while he listens to/watches videos
So it makes sense that he would have a lot of hours on that
can't really ask for more
See but that’s another criticism I have
He would have held himself better in debates if he had READ instead listened to audiobooks
I don't even think he should do debates tbh
Now that he’s getting deeper into political philosophy it is necessary to devote ones self to the written word
He does read, quite a bit actually
He doesn't tend to listen to audiobooks, he listens to videos like fem Freq when he plays games
He could have easily dismantled spencer who was contradicting himself with the claims he was making about Sargon
Yeah, he did handle that rather poorly
But he wasn’t read enough on the history of ideas
Spencer was appealing to phenomenology
debates are a waste of time, unless you have literally nothing else to do
While saying Sargon couldn’t appeal to Lockean empiricism
It was grotesque
I would have made spencer fall on his own sword
Because I have read Husserl
are you feeling euphoric?
My knowledge of the history of ideas is not something you achieve in ten lifetimes
how did you manage it then?
It’s the product of dedicated scholarship unknown to the banausic minds of this generation
