Correct. They were.
Perhaps not for that reason though.
But yes, they were
KJV is treacherous
Douay Rheims forever
http://biblehub.com/drb/exodus/33.htm doesn't have the capitalization in there either
I wasn't the one saying to capitalize "the".
Talk to the other goonball
I know
I was just saying I don't approve of the KJV
Get off my back.
Its not like the KJV is prohibited to read in any way by the catholic doctrine though
Right. I still think it is imprudent given there are better alternatives
You have a hot girl and an ugly which do you bang
Neither <:smug:402400327313391616>
"Ah fuck it, I'll bang the ugly one cause it's allowed!"
No, you bang the hot one, get it?
So read Douay Rheims
>not marrying the bitch first
Don't countersignal Thanos, he's /ourguy/
Fellas I just went to see a play
What play?
it was a community production of Big Fish
Oof
tbh I really liked it
Sorry lad, I normally only watched Shakespearean performances
I'm unfamiliar with the movie or the book, but this particular production of it was good
King Lear is probably the GOAT play
The acting was pretty good, the music was good, production values were ok, I honestly liked the play itself
And there was only one token POC in the whole cast
and like one other in the audience
I really need to go and see an opera performance
It was a very implicit affair overall
I'm in love a Syrian olympic swimmer.
She's 10/10
@Papa Berb Enlighten me on King Lear
I wonder if she's catholic
Essentially, the King Lear in his old age divides his kingdom up amongst two of his three daughters based on nothing but flattery, then they fight amongst themselves for power with his third daughter. The resulting conflict amongst his family but also his kingdom drives him crazy.
