It isnt rape if u consent
In regards to voluntary choices
The idea of individualism is that the emphasis is on the rights of the individual. It doesn't necessitate that you can't be part of a group, just that the group's importance is less than the individual's.
Consent prevents rape 100% of the time
Exactly
This guy gets it
@Silver Shield Of course not, but if you're not part of a group, then you're in a stateless society
just look at my avatar
so trustworthy
well there would still be organisations in a stateless society.
Looks like Willem Dafoe and Gordon Freeman had a baby
You know I wonder if delta city from robocop wouldn't have been a better outcome?
@AiarUther If I lived in unincorporated Alaska with no state, and provided everything for myself, then yes, I'm finally an 'individualist'
where i got it
Beyond 2 souls devs were pervs
Me gusta
the division of labour is what makes civilisation great
@AiarUther You YOURSELF are not an 'anarcho capitalist', but you're in a stateless society
I've lost the point you are trying to make
*The hypothetical guy living in buttfuck middle nowhere alaska might not be an ancap, but he's living in a stateless society which we might as well call an 'anarcho capitalist society' for a colloquialism*
jesus fuck
Well he's just a nutcase survivorist
Okay, but what does this have to do with individualism
*That's not my fucking point*. If you live in a country, you're in a collective.
but I've run into commies who believe that division of labour is also evil.
You can be part of a collective and still be an individualist
true
@Silver Shield Well no shit
So again, I'm not sure what your point is
I guess you have to value yourself as an individual over that collective
more importantly
when is forge world releasing rules for 8th edition carcharodons?
:C
I don't get why this is even an argument, is what I'm trying to say. You can value being an 'individualist' all you want, but there's always a higher order that you're going to value as well.
The argument I guess, is whether the individual is more important than the abstraction of the State, or vice versa
