Over the years, these became the castes
The families which had been historically poor, the servant classes, were resented by the families that were historically rich and vice versa
The priest and educated families became the Brahmin caste
The warrior and similar families became the Kshatriyas
The tradesmen classes became the Vaishyas
And the servant classes became the Shudras

That's really interesting
But how is it identity politics in the article
@Deleted User It's time to clean the floors.
Well, in modern day castes aren't the same anymore
Mostly because of reservations
As of now, the narrative is that lower castes are being oppressed by higher castes
and the Indian society as a whole is turned against them
So now you have a case where a guy who is higher caste beats up a woman...
Ohhhhhh
I get it now
indian history sounds like fantasy
when the fire nation attacked all the indian warring states were seperated

@Hannibal#7400 Ironically, it's the exact opposite
India was united by the people who conquered it
@Deleted User It's time to clean the floors.
you mean alexander the great @Deleted User
oh wait
he didnt conquer it
the british were great unite people against them
No, no
The East India company conquered another empire
It was called the Mughal Empire
They were the ones that paid the foundations for what India is now
Especially Aurangzeb
And Akbar
They have a very bloody history though
And were cruel
I suggest reading through their history, starting with Babur's invasion of delhi
It's very interesting
