but he's genuine and intellectually honest

He's partisan as hell, and chooses when to actually research his opinions or not

But he is very clear that he is partisan

What I mean is, if he feels uncomfortable with his opinion, he won't research it prior to doing a segment on it. He speaks before informing himself.
