They aren't allowed to hit you, so idk

2018-08-17 18:41:15 UTC

School houses are a naturally emergent phenomenon in communities anyways

2018-08-17 18:44:13 UTC

So I hear that this is where the Sceptic community is at

2018-08-17 18:44:45 UTC

yeah, common mistake

2018-08-17 18:44:45 UTC

Ah

2018-08-17 18:45:36 UTC

Well, I guess if there is one positive about Sceptism, it produces humor

2018-08-17 18:45:40 UTC

Sargons not here

2018-08-17 18:46:14 UTC

Fucking Athens.

2018-08-17 18:46:36 UTC

I refuse to go to Athens until they fix their channel names

2018-08-17 18:46:48 UTC

Not terfs so much. Or was it turfs? Hell, I can't remember.

2018-08-17 18:47:21 UTC

I personally think that Sceptism is asinine, but I wanted to debate it with believers

2018-08-17 18:47:31 UTC

So I'll pose my inquiry:

2018-08-17 18:47:35 UTC

@King Canuck *-Donald Trump will remember that-*

2018-08-17 18:47:45 UTC

🤔

2018-08-17 18:47:59 UTC

You're skeptical of skepticism?

2018-08-17 18:48:15 UTC

Even if what you immediately perceive is unreliable, could you really convince yourself that it is night when the ruling faculty of your mind differs to tell you that it is day? You would think, even if you could not determine exactly how many individual specks of dust are on your desk, that you could gather enough epistemological evidence that would suffice to say that there is dust on your desk.

2018-08-17 18:48:22 UTC

I mean... I dunno

2018-08-17 18:48:49 UTC

But it is

2018-08-17 18:49:17 UTC

That's a basic principle of what Pyrrho taught

2018-08-17 18:49:24 UTC

We going down a deconstructionist rabbit hole?

2018-08-17 18:49:28 UTC

@Spagelo We're living inside of a 4D projection of an 8D quasi Crystal, with triangular planck scale sized "pixles" making up reality.

Get used to it.

2018-08-17 18:49:31 UTC

I was doing something else and skimmed

2018-08-17 18:49:43 UTC

Just made some burgers.

2018-08-17 18:49:56 UTC

I personally laughed through the fragments of Timon and Silloi

2018-08-17 18:50:21 UTC

It just doesn't make sense

2018-08-17 18:50:29 UTC

So you fancy yourself an intellectual. Nothing wrong with that.

2018-08-17 18:50:32 UTC

Epictetus said it better:

2018-08-17 18:50:35 UTC

```If a man should come forward and say: "Know that there is nothing that can be known, but all things are incapable of sure evidence;" or if another says, "Believe me and you will be the better for it, that a man ought not to believe any thing;" or again, if another should say, "Learn from me, man, that it is not possible to learn any thing; I tell you this and will teach you, if you please." Now in what respect do these differ from those? Whom shall I name? Those who call themselves Academics? "Men, agree with us that no man agrees with another: believe us that no man believes anybody."```
2018-08-17 18:50:41 UTC
This sounds like mental masturbation
2018-08-17 18:50:46 UTC
What's your take on things?
2018-08-17 18:50:59 UTC
@Fitzydog This could be good for both of us...
2018-08-17 18:51:11 UTC
mutual mental masturbation?
2018-08-17 18:51:12 UTC
Just... lemme get my brain lubed up first. heheheh
2018-08-17 18:52:31 UTC
Also, that quote seems a bit nonsensical if you take the full context of it. *shrug*
2018-08-17 18:52:51 UTC
If we can't trust anything or know anything how can you use what you can't know to not prove that? XD
2018-08-17 18:53:04 UTC
Here's the rest:
2018-08-17 18:53:24 UTC
It's about pragmatism.
2018-08-17 18:53:34 UTC
If it works... well, it can't be that bad.
