It's a lot of configuration on that end though.
Yeah.
You do scaling on it.
And a lot of other stuff.
it can give you a job if you are good with it
I assume so
seems like a standard feature it would have
A head start.
I used lathes in highschool and did welding there too, so it's definitely good basic work experience.
I definitely was told how to stay alive.
Because that shit is dangerous.

Just watch a bunch of these guy's videos, and you'll be knowledgeable enough to kill yourself
The first thing you learn in CNC class in college here is about people that died in that class before.
And pictures of the aftermath.
It's good to tell you to not fuck around.
I think he's developing an open source DIY cnc solution at the moment
Yes, there's no info yet though
🦉
I'd rather buy a gun rather than make one too.
Because one is less likely to kill me.
Kill yourself shooting the gun, rather.
if you made it right.
Or didn't get something stuck in the barrel.
The barrel wasn't sized for your round
or the bolt wasn't tight enough against the breach
Yes
Or just any bad craftsmanship
@M4Gunner Could be a barrel obstruction or ammunition issue, but if you're making it all yourself, I'd look at the barrel, chamber, and locking system first.
You'd be surprised
People have been making 300yard accurate sharpshooter rifles in their sheds for almost 300 years
Oh, you can just do a smoothbore barrel if you're worried about rifling tolerances, much simpler.
Low pressure system, not a bad idea
lol how about you start with a muzzleloader kit instead?
Well, start small
You can worry about effectiveness once you get it functional
So what is this getting mounted on?
of your design?
Mount the gun sideways gangsta style, so to keep the height down
