The states are basically mini countries that all do their own laws, regulations and enforcement thereof. They are beholden to the Federal Government, but D.C sometimes decides that it knows better
@Omsomething I don't think it is about an extreme of no federal employees, that is an extreme, but more answering the question of what exactly the logical amount of federal employees is.
