I blame France, but also have no idea why they were so hegemonic about being in favor of article 13. They HAVE to have some other interest in it besides simply enforcing copyright. They must have investments in IPs that are infringed on or some real serious stake in the matter, because no other nation (not even fucking Germoney) voted 90ish% in favor of article 13.

Is anyone here enough of a frog to have an answer to that?
