Is anyone going to the London event with Sargon and Dank?
I'd be tempted but a trip into the smog is too expensive this month
@WeaponisedCutlery that's a nice pfp and name
@Broo TulsiGang 2024 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 It always bothers me when I see these people posting these "idyllic" 50s, looking back and thinking that those were the best times of human history, and everything was so perfect and wonderful back then... it's like the "I was born in the wrong generation" retarded comments.
The 50s were only great if
a) you lived in the US
b) you were white
c) you had a good living
d) you didn't have any "questionable/illegal" beliefs
e) if you weren't at an age to be drafted into the Korean war
If you don't belong to this category, then the 50s were a difficult decade, particularly for people living outside the US
Same with the 60s in this country
The Swinging Sixties only actually happened in a small area of London.
People don't realise that now is the greatest time to exist, we have goods and services at our disposal that our ancestors could only dream of
but we are so racist and evil
Things appear to be bad, but in reality it has never been better
but we need communism to save the polar bears
we only have 12 year left!
This 👏
I unironically think we should try to clean up the trash though.
we are saving the environment by ruining the environment by putting up huge wind mill farms everywhere
We should be switching to nuclear
How do windfards ruin the environment?
They are literal trash
We are living in the new atomic age
Embrace it
they only make our power grids more inneficient
Also my film studies teacher is based, so that’s cool
Consistency is key to power grid efficiency!
Yes
That too
I’d prefer solar to wind, frankly
@Capitán Alatriste give it 10 years and you will feel the same way about today
🤷
Not even making a political point or disagreeing with you
At least then you have a vaguely regular power cycle
Just how pmuch every human works
No I agree, it's a lot to do with Nostalgia, like when people look back at the 90s and 80s. Because back then they had no responsibilities, so it looked like life was good
I mean
When I was growing up you could call people nasty names
In the 90 and 00's there was less racism than today tho
