I disagree. You will still have problems with any anarchist system, and anarchists recognize this.
@Fitzydog think of being detained or being a patient in hospital after an accident. You then have guardianship and someone else is responsible for your well being as you no longer have agency
So in that way, anarchists are not striving for perfection.
On a realist sense minarchism will only rise out of a total wipe of whatever current byzatine system exists
Yeah
I guess the NCR in Fallout would be an example
@EnderOctanus AnCaps don't call themselves anarchists anymore, fyi
I call gays gays, and anarchists anarchists. Lol
If you believe a minarchist state can maintain itself it's utopian
Too manly labels
Nothing maintains itself
@EnderOctanus Lefty anarchists define anarchism as "Without *hierarchy*" while AnCaps define it as "Without *rulers*"
whats the difference?
Depends
How deep into political theory are you?
@Cody Leftys don't want even bosses at work, or the head of a neighborhood association
For the average person there may as well be no difference.
Im average and know the difference
Hahah backhanded but sure
@EnderOctanus normally I find I get suicidal when my adhd meds wear off, not when Iām just off them
Nah man I was about to buy a helium tank.
When people say "ADHD meds", I replace it with "meth"
Fair
It works though
`Even from birth, the parental ownership is not absolute but of a "trustee" or guardianship kind. `
@EnderOctanus oh, I wasn't ever suicidal for long enough, it was just the hour or so after it wore off
hour or two
@NightOwl lol I've always loved the Libertarian 'baby market' idea. It's so simple š
That article reads like its written by a childless academic
adhd meds are meth and cocaine I think depending on what gets picked
I think
I know there are minarchists here so I thought it would be good to link Rothbard
Hmm, I mostly agree with Rothbard, but I diverge a bit possibly
Just a fucked up hybrid here.
I look at it from a contract point of view
Hard for me to look at it in that way when my 2 year-old is stuffing blocks between my toes
