raising kids is expensive if you're like the masses and just buys all your babies shit new

2019-04-20 19:07:41 UTC

people don't know what frugality is nowdays

2019-04-20 19:07:51 UTC

Fiscal relief and support is how you'd do it.

2019-04-20 19:07:58 UTC

If you can't afford kids don't have kids

2019-04-20 19:08:03 UTC

It's not like it's much better with illegals either way.

2019-04-20 19:08:25 UTC

By the nature of their condition they don't pay taxes other than in purchases (and even then it depends)

2019-04-20 19:08:34 UTC

the reason raising babies wasn't expensive back in the day was that people didn't have money to waste smh

2019-04-20 19:08:38 UTC

and they use up local services funded with actual taxpayer money.

2019-04-20 19:08:43 UTC

@Amir poor people arent poor because they have many kids, they have many kids because they are poor

2019-04-20 19:09:48 UTC

The more kids they have the more chances the money will come to the family onve they start working

2019-04-20 19:10:02 UTC

Yah but In a industrial setting or in modern America where it’s not as agricultural dependent I feel more children for the poor becomes a large expense for them until they become older (if they become productive to begin with)

2019-04-20 19:11:03 UTC

Yeah it's the 21st century more uneducated kids =/= more income

2019-04-20 19:11:37 UTC

Unless by income you mean fucking welfare...

2019-04-20 19:12:59 UTC

@Deleted User "stop being poor"

2019-04-20 19:13:58 UTC

Yeah in most western countries it really is that easy, just takes some effort and the will to reject government handouts

2019-04-20 19:14:33 UTC

tbh, why reject any money you can take from the government

2019-04-20 19:14:44 UTC

that's my policy, they're already taking too much from me

2019-04-20 19:14:47 UTC

Or you can be the government's bitch forever

anyone who can work but doesn't is an awful person

2019-04-20 19:17:03 UTC

So there's 2 people, both came to Canada 30 years ago, 1 of em hasn't worked a day in his life and the other has worked almost all those 30 years as a taxi/ambulance driver. The guy that worked his ass off recently got his retirement and it's barely anymore than the fucker that just took the welfare paycheck from day 1.

2019-04-20 19:17:06 UTC

@PartlyAwesome stay at home moms?

2019-04-20 19:17:07 UTC

but there are genuine cases of like "can't work"

2019-04-20 19:17:12 UTC

Topkek system

2019-04-20 19:17:27 UTC

stay at home moms, if they are voluntarily supported by a husband, sure why not

2019-04-20 19:17:45 UTC

Almost like the welfare system is put in place to enslave and keep the poor exactly where they are

2019-04-20 19:17:56 UTC

Whilst negatively impacting those that actually work

2019-04-20 19:18:02 UTC

Government money can help like I get financial aid for college since I don’t have much money and it makes a world of a difference (financial aid since it’s a investment into education as long as you pass your classes) but, I’m against using government programs being used as a wheel chair rather then a crutch since it’s not meant to be permanent and should be used as a safety net to help people not sustain people

2019-04-20 19:18:34 UTC

<:HonkHonk:566814473646768128>

2019-04-20 19:19:22 UTC

I think putting more money into things like financial aid or something rather then welfare would help since education is one way of moving up in social classes

2019-04-20 19:19:36 UTC

It's the only way

2019-04-20 19:19:52 UTC

The most people who use financial aid are upper middle class white kids

2019-04-20 19:19:53 UTC

You can be a entrepreneur

2019-04-20 19:20:03 UTC

I’m a Hispanic that lives by the border

2019-04-20 19:20:17 UTC

I’m American above all else tho

2019-04-20 19:20:32 UTC

yeah, government schemes to help people afford shit that has become ridiculously out of reach. like i'm on the UK's help to buy isa scheme so i can get 25% extra to what i've put in because the housing market is fucked

2019-04-20 19:21:00 UTC

@Amir `Almost like the welfare system is put in place to enslave and keep the poor exactly where they are`
the problem is you're only looking at guys

2019-04-20 19:21:06 UTC

I also agree that people under the "voluntary unemployment" category shouldn't receive benefits. But people under "structural unemployment" do need them

2019-04-20 19:21:06 UTC

the welfare system is actually for women

2019-04-20 19:21:16 UTC

Is for idiots
