I will grant that postmodernism is kind of hard to define which makes explicitly hating it a little silly perhaps but the general idea of deconstructing everything for the sake of it has in my opinion yielded few, if any, positive results

I wouldn't say it's useful for coming up with alternatives to what we have, but it's good at looking critically at what we have and asking why it's like that

some of it sucks but some of it is pretty neat

I am not saying post modernism is dumb, it clearly isn't, i just think tearing down meta-narratives without replacing them is irresponsible and frankly immoral. Once there is something better to replace things with removing the old structure will have value, but not before.
