but see, you say all the historical data verifies it happened. i'm sure you're right, but i haven't looked into it myself, and neither have most people who claim to be certain it happened. so from that sense, the fact that a) it's illegal to debate in some countries b) there's enormous moral outcry whenever it's discussed, c) there's a huge underground movement of conspiracy theorists saying it didn't happen, are together sufficient (in my opinion) reasons to at least think the issue requires some deeper investigation
